About NDBDA

Our Association

The North Dakota Beer Distributors Association (NDBDA) is a non-profit trade association representing independent, family-owned, licensed beer distributors. In compliance with all Federal, State, and local alcohol regulations, our distributors deliver a vast selection of brands to over 1600 licensed retailers in communities throughout North Dakota.

At its core, our association was formed to promote and serve the common goals of our members. Establishing the association shortly after the repeal of prohibition in 1933, our founding members knew all too well the dangers of an unregulated system that lead to prohibition and the resulting unregulated trade in alcohol. Our mission then, and now, is to provide education and guidance to our members, policymakers, regulators, and the public on laws surrounding alcohol distribution. Our advocacy focuses on maintaining the safe, accountable, and transparent system of alcohol distribution that the independent three-tier system provides.

The NDBDA, and its members, are committed to ensuring our products are enjoyed safely and responsibly by implementing and supporting programs that combat illegal underage drinking, drunk driving, and championing responsible serving and consumption.

NDBDA promotes the general welfare of those persons, firms, and corporations engaged in the wholesale distribution of beer and ale in the State of North Dakota
